Paper Industry
Mineral paper production generally goes through the following stages:
Fiber Material Preparation: This stage involves the preparation of fiber sources such as tree wood, wood fibers, cellulose or paper waste from recycling processes. These materials are turned into fiber and cleaned.
Pulp Production: The prepared fiber material is turned into pulp by chemical processes or mechanical methods. This pulp is the basic material for making paper.
Papermaking: Pulp is shaped, dried and rolled through a series of processes, usually on large machines. Papermaking involves various processes to determine the final thickness, structure and properties of the paper.
Cutting and Rolling: Paper is cut to desired dimensions and rolled into rolls. This process determines the size and shape of the final product.
Printing and Packaging: Some paper products are subjected to the printing process and turned into products such as newspapers, magazines or packaging materials. At this stage, text, images, and other graphics are added to the paper.
Distribution: Produced paper products are released to the market through the distribution network to be delivered to the end user.
The mineral paper industry is an important industry and employs a large number of workers around the world. It is also important for the environment because recycling processes allow paper waste to be reused, thus reducing deforestation. The variety and usage areas of paper products are quite wide, so this branch of industry serves many different sectors.
